Lumeon Download Manager

This is a new application that is currently being tested on a music download site being created by Lumeon.  The files to be downloaded are stored on the server in a location that is not accessible from the Internet.  When the authorized user requests to download these files they are moved to a location on the server where they can be downloaded.  After a set period of time the file is deleted from this location so it can no longer be downloaded.  The authorized user can request to download the file again if required.

Why?  Increased document protection without requiring sophisticated server permission controls or user accounts.

When?  Digital delivery of music, documents, or software during collaboration or after an e-commerce transaction.
