Lumeon's Software Assurance gives customers automatic access to new technology and the ability to forecast annual software budget requirements.  These benefits provide significant value to a customer.  The items below will help you better understand the sources of value and potential savings associated with this plan.

New Version Rights

Every customer with Software Assurance is granted access to new versions of their licensed software released while maintaining their agreement.  This lowers the cost associated with acquiring new version releases and enables you to immediately take advantage of the latest technology.

Spread Payments

Software Assurance offers companies a more flexible way to manage technology expenditures by having small even payments over the duration of the agreement.  This enables customers to forecast annual software budget requirements.

Upgrades vs. Software Assurance

Lumeon Software Assurance is a percentage fee paid annually (it can also be paid quarterly or monthly) for the software titles you have licensed from Lumeon.  New versions of these titles are made available to you at no additional cost.  Conversely, existing customers not participating in Software Assurance are typically offered, for a limited time, a 20% discount on new versions of titles they have licensed.
